This session has been a long time in the making. I think every time I come to visit my family in Kansas, we talk about doing a session for my sister, Cara. Well, trips just go so. darn. fast.! So, we finally chose a date and just said it’s going to happen… and it did.

Shooting in Kansas is so different than shooting in Texas. Kansas has the most beautiful green tones that I am just not used to working with. So, this was a good challenge for me. The other challenge, was three really fast kids. My two nieces and nephew, Kellen, may be the fastest kids I have ever photographed. I hope they all run track someday! We had so much fun just hanging out at the park, running around, picking the grass, searching for Nana and Papa under the bridge (no, Nana and Papa were not under the bridge), dancing (flossing to be exact), and did I mention running?

Ohhhh always such a wonderful time being with this crew. Thank you Cara, Leif, Avery, Norah and Kellen. You guys are the best and I love you oh so much!
